Corporate siteLISLE, Ill. May 5, 2015 – KONE has appointed Dennis Viehweg as senior vice president of the modernization business for the Americas as of Monday, June 1. Viehweg will report to Larry Wash, executive vice president of KONE Americas, and will serve as a member of KONE Americas senior leadership team. He will also be an extended member of the global modernization leadership team, to develop and facilitate KONE’s strategy.
Viehweg will lead KONE’s modernization business across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, providing overall leadership and management of the company’s fast-growing and dynamic business. He will be located at the KONE Americas headquarters in Lisle, Ill.
Viehweg started his career at KONE in 1988 in service sales and has held roles of increasing responsibility since, most recently serving as district manager for Western Canada. He has worked across several global geographies, including the U.S., Asia and Canada. Viehweg has held significant profit and loss management roles and has built collaborative teams to achieve impressive results. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill.
